Baran Kosari, born on October 25, 1364 in Tehran, is an actor, set designer, costume designer, stage secretary, graduated from Soreh Conservatory and a student of sociology. He is the son of Jahangir Kaushari and Rakhshan Bani Etamad. Baran Kosari entered the world of acting in 1370 by appearing in the movie “The Best Dad in the World”. In 1376, he experienced the theater by acting in the play “On the other side of the mirror” (directed by Azita Hajian). In 1381, he participated as a judge in the 17th International Children and Adolescent Film Festival in Isfahan. In February of 2015, she won the Crystal Simorgh for the best leading actress of the Fajr International Film Festival for the two films Khoonbazi and the third day and the diploma of honor of the international section for the film Khoonbazi. A book titled Baran Kothari in Iranian Cinema (written by Hossein Alamgir, Shaisteh Publications) has been published. He has also been introduced as the ambassador of the Swedish Charity Association in Iran, which is an independent non-profit grassroots organization. In 2014, Baran Kothari had an accident while filming the movie Seven Months and was severely injured.
