Farhad Najafi | فرهاد نجفی

Farhad Najafi is a director, screenwriter, producer and director of special effects in Iranian cinema. At the age of 15, he went to the Broadcasting Academy to join the art caravan. He began his studies in the field of graphics, and while learning graphics in full, he also taught photography and familiarization with color applications. A few months after starting his studies at the Academy, he made his first documentary film called Iran and Naria. His next work was a short film named Harak. A little later and influenced by Oliver Stone, Farhad Najafi learned film editing and edited his next short film. After making four short films, Farhad Najafi at the age of nineteen started to write the screenplay for the movie Harak Ol, and then he shot the film Harak Ol as his first cinematic experience. He also went through the special and in all his works, he has personally managed the special effects. Charso movie, Matador series and Aspirin series are among Najafi’s other creations.
