Farshad Fereshte Hekmat (born in 1341 in Kazeroon) is an Iranian director and documentary maker, poet and professor at Tehran University. Among his works, we can mention Hafez from Goethe’s point of view, The Gods of the Soil, The Secrets of Iran and the Earth, The Birth of a Line and Rain in the Sun. In 2007, his memorial service was held in Haqit cinema.
