Hossein Mahjoub is a director, writer and actor. He has a diploma in literature and his first film work was acting in Regbar directed by Bahram Baizaei. His first appearance in the theater was in Sultan Mar Baizaei in 1348. He was among the winners of the 17th Fajr International Film Festival (February 1377) as the best supporting actor for the movie Rang Khoda. He was nominated for an award from the Fajr Festival for the film Last Curtain, and nominated for an award from Cinema House Festival for the films My Song, I Am 15 Years Old (second role) and Big Drum under the Left Foot (first role).
