Mehdi Mahdavikia is a former captain of Persepolis and the Iranian national football team and the current Ambassador of the Asian continent in baseball. He has played at the clubs of National Bank, Persepolis, Bochum and Hamburg, Germany’s Intellectual Frankfurt and Damash Gilan. He was recognized by the AFC as the top Asian football player in 2008. Hamburg supporters had been nicknamed Iranian missiles.
