Parviz Shahbazi | پرویز شهبازی
Born in 1341 SH
He is an Iranian director, writer and editor. In 2003, Shahbazi won the Phipershi Award from the Pusan Film Festival for the film Nafs al-Damab, and for directing the film Darband at the 31st Fajr Film Festival in 1391, he won the Crystal Simorgh for the best director. He was born in Tehran in 1341 and He has a bachelor’s degree in directing from the Faculty of Broadcasting. In 1368, after finishing his studies, he made a number of short films and entered the professional cinema with the movie “South Passenger”. Deep Breath was his third film which was made in 2001 and it was noticed by critics and people and the new era of Shahbazi’s filmmaking began.
