Pouria Poursorkh, born on July 4, 1356 in Tehran, is an actress. His father is an oil company employee, his mother is an English teacher, and he has two younger brothers and a sister.

He started his artistic activity in 2001 by appearing in the TV series “Memorable Days” made by Toraj Mansouri and Homayun Shahnavaz. This series narrates the events of the last years of the Qajar dynasty.

In 1983, he played a role in the Farar Bozor TV series directed by Mohammad Hossein Latifi. This series was broadcast on Channel One in the fall and winter of 1984 on the occasion of Fajr decade.

In 1984, he played a role in the series “Mosafir” by Mohammad Dastgardi. In the same year, he experienced the cinema by acting in the movie “Crime and Misdemeanor” directed by Hamidreza Mohseni.

In 1985, he became famous by acting in the Nowrozi series “Wafa” directed by Mohammad Hossein Latifi and was introduced as a new face in the world of acting. There were other actors in this series, including Haniyeh Tosali, Farhad Aslani and Farhad Qahemian. Wafa series was filmed in Iran and Lebanon and won the special prize of the jury at the second police film festival. Poriya Poursarakh was also nominated for the best male actor in a television drama at the 10th Hafez Festival for acting in this series.

 

In 1985, Pouria Poursarkh collaborated with Mohammad Hossein Latifi again in the TV series Sahibdelan. The Sahibdelan series was broadcasted on Channel One on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

In the same year, he appeared in Masoub Doshizeh movie made by Masoud Atbaei. Then he played a role in the movie Pesran Ajri directed by Majid Qarizadeh. The movie Rooz Som, directed by Mohammad Hossein Latifi, was his next work in 1985. This film won the Crystal Simorgh for the best film at the 25th Fajr International Film Festival.

In 1986, he appeared in the TV series Shokarane by Saeed Soltani and Hourglass by Bahram Bahramian.

In 1987, he played in the movie Delkhon directed by Mohammad Reza Rahmani, Khatere by Nader Taiqat and Anahita by Azizullah Hamidenzad. Then, he played in the transcendental series of Rooz Hasrat by Siros Moghadam. This series, which was previously called “Sleeping”, was broadcast on TV in the holy month of Ramadan in 1987.

In 1988, he played a role in the TV series Rastgaran directed by Siros Moghadam. Then he worked in the movie Seeking Happiness directed by Bahman Gudarzi. Shir and Asal directed by Arash Mairian was his next film in 1988. Pouria Poursarkh then played a role in the movie Cheragh Red Light directed by Ali Ghafari. In the same year, Poursarakh appeared in front of the camera in the movie Naspas made by Hassan Hedayat.

In 1989, he played a role as a guest actor in the comedy series Capital 1. Then he played a role in the movie Whatever God Wants by Navid Mehenparast, along with the songs of Alidosti, Reza Attaran, Hamed Kamili and Saeed Aghakhani. His next works in 1989 were the movies Gulogah Shaitan by Hamid Bahmani and Last Robbery by Pedram Alizadeh.

In 1990, he played in the television series “Free Fall” by Alireza Amini. This collection was originally called Guillotine, and then it was renamed to The Last Day and finally to Free Fall. Pouria Poursorkh then collaborated with Behrang Alavi in the television series Mashir Dekahegi.

In 1991, he played a role in the TV series “Silver Man”. Then he worked in the TV series Matador directed by Farhad Najafi. Matador was a security genre and many actors, including Poulad Kimiaei, Shagaig Farahani, Sam Derakhshani and Aliram Nouraei, were present in it. The Daughters of Eve series is one of the other works in which Pouria Poursarkh participated.

In 1991, Poursarokh played a role in the first 3D movie in the history of Iranian cinema called Mr. A.

In 1992, he appeared in the movie Rooz Rastakheez directed by Ahmad Reza Darvish. This movie is known in the western world as Hossein Anke said no and in Arab countries as Qurban. Rostakhiz was nominated for awards in 11 categories at the 32nd Fajr International Film Festival and finally won the Crystal Simorgh in 8 categories, including the best film and the best director. After being banned for nine years, this film was finally allowed to be screened online in 1400, and in addition to Iranian actors, actors from Kuwait, Iraq, Lebanon, America and Syria were also present in it. Pouria Poursarakh then acted in the movie next date there, made by Mohsen Tavakoli.

In 1993, he joined the group of Sam Derakhshani, Hadi Kazemi and Pejman Bazghi in the series of Iranian dinner home show. Then he worked in the movies Lampe Sad by Saeed Aghakhani and Durbin by Mohsen Tavakoli.

In 1994, he acted in the TV series Kimia directed by Javad Afshar. This series was broadcasted in 110 episodes of 50 minutes on Do Sima network, and it is the longest Iranian TV series after “Dot Chiin” and “Fasten our Belts”. He then played a role in the television series “Sick of the Governor” by Saeed Aghakhani. In the same year, Poursarkh appeared in two movies called Love and Madness and Lovers Stand and Die.

In 1995, he played the role of Nasser Pahlavan in the TV series Baradar directed by Javad Afshar. He was nominated for the title of the best male actor in a TV drama for his role in this series at the 17th Hafez Festival and was also nominated for the best male actor in the Sein Like Series program. Poursarakh then worked in the series Merz Khoshtabti directed by Hossein Soheilizadeh.

In 1996, he participated in the series of home show Pixel by Mohammad Hossein Latifi. In this year, he acted in the movies Khaltoor, Dakhmeh, Bekht Khamari and Patio. The movie Patio is directed by Maryam Bahrul Uloomi, which was shown in 1997 in the Art and Experience Cinema Group. This film has participated in more than 30 international festivals and won many awards, including the award for the best urban film of the Bomi Festival in Istanbul.

In 1997, he appeared in two movies Salaam Alaikum Haj Agha directed by Hossein Tabrizi and Mediterranean directed by Hadi Hajtmand.

In 1998, he worked in the collection of the recovery home show by Bahadur Esadi. Then he played a role in the television series Yadaha Gorede by Bahram Bahramian. His other works in 1998 include the series in the color of soil, from fate, and the movie Jashm and Gosh Bagte. In 1998, Poursarkh appeared on the stage in Alfred’s show directed by Hadi Amel in Iranshahr Theater.

In 1999, he played in the series of home show Mochin. The TV series “Ilda” and “Destiny” (third season) were among his other works in 1998. He then acted in three movies named Aros Kheyan Fereshte, Tak Khal and Hulia.

In 1400, he played in the social drama “Snow Falling Silently” by Pouria Azarbaijani. Then he played a role in the TV series Bar Zard 2. In this same year, Poriya Poursarkh was a participant in the Joker home show series. Joker’s home show series is made by Ehsan Alikhani and Seyed Hamed Mirftahi, which was broadcasted on the Filmo platform in December 1400 and was well received by the viewers.
