Rakhshandeh Bani Etemad, better known as Rakhshān Banietemad, was born on April 14, 1333 in Tehran, director, screenwriter, producer, documentary maker, a member of the Oscar Academy, graduated from the Department of Cinema Directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Tehran (Faculty of Cinema and Theater of the University of Arts ) Is. In 1352, he entered television as a stage secretary. He directed several short documentary films until 1359. In the same year, she married Jahangir Kothari (Iranian producer, presenter, soccer player, football reporter and journalist), and the result is a daughter named Baran (actor) and a son named Tandis. In 1360, he worked as a stage secretary in the movie “Sunny Nights” and this was his first cinematic experience. The movie Chrysanthemum Flowers in 1363 was his second cinematic experience. In 1366, he directed his first feature film called Out of Bounds, then he rewrote and directed the movie Canary Yellow. Directing and writing the screenplay of the movie Narges was chosen as the best director in the 10th Fajr Film Festival. He has been a judge in many ceremonies and festivals.
