At the age of 9, due to the poverty of the family, Aitkin is sold to a person who has two wives and several children and marries him. She runs away from home due to her husband’s beating and is placed under the supervision of Mrs. Dr. Yousefi who spends her medical program in Turkmen Sahara region.
